The defendant was convicted of "pulling a knife with the intention of killing, spreading terror and creating insecurity in society during the recent riots," according to Mizan Online.
In recent days, five death sentences have been handed down by the Revolutionary Court in connection with cases related to the current "riots" in Tehran province.
The sentences of all these accused can be appealed to the Supreme Court.

At least 378 people, including 47 children, have been killed in the crackdown on the protests, according to a new tally published Sunday by the Oslo-based Iran Human Rights Watch organization.
The organization also noted that these deaths occurred in 25 of the 31 provinces, including 123 in Sistan Baluchistan.
